Here’s a couple of images of Mono Lake, a premier photo destination on Hwy. 395 in California. My best shots came just as the sun was setting over the Sierras to the west. Low clouds obscured the sun as it set, but just before dropping below the mountains, it peeked out from under the clouds to illuminate the lake and the tufa formations. Lucky for me.
